Dermatology and Allergy Services for Animals

At Dermatology and Allergy Services for Animals, we know that many dermatologic conditions can be chronic and therefore extremely frustrating for pet owners. In most cases, we believe that the primary care veterinarian is more than capable of providing safe and effective therapy for a pet's skin disorder. However, in some cases, and in an effort to provide the latest and most effective treatment modalities, we are happy to serve as your veterinarian's partner to provide dermatology and allergy services. Our team of veterinary technicians is experienced, having received specific, advanced training and, we use state-of-the-art equipment to provide the highest standard of treatment available.

We schedule our initial consultations with enough time to review your pet's complete history and perform a thorough dermatological examination. Being located within a multidisciplinary referral hospital provides the added benefit of collaboration with a comprehensive team of board-certified specialists when appropriate. After each visit, a referral letter is sent to your primary care veterinarian detailing all clinical findings, laboratory test results, diagnoses and treatment recommendations. This close communication between your veterinarian, Dr. Bruce Hansen, and our staff is critical in maintaining the highest level of care for your pet.
